HELP my knobs fallen off!

Post by ChrisTriple »

Im stuck in 4th, the bit that fits between the gearbox and the gear shift has fallen off!

http://www.justkampers.com/251-711-221- ... -1992.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

that's the bit! can someone tell me if the JK one is any good or Do Brickwerks do one ( as id rather buy from them) I cant see how if fixes on or is it just a case of pop the ball in the socket on the gear linkage and its all held on the side of the gear box with will power?

Thanks in advance for any help

Held on to the shaft with a nut - which is accessed through the hole.

It will only go on the shaft in one position so no lining up needed.

Ok on the end on the shaft from the gearbox there's a nut, looks like it was not done up against the relay lever.
on taking this nut off and trying it with the relay lever it just slips through both the splined hole and non splined hole, is this because the relay lever part is knackered or am I missing a washer.
