Post by Euroboy »

Evening All,

Can anyone tell me whether a set of early T4 steel wheels will fit on my T25, it's just the centre cap issue,

Thanks

Center bore is too small, offset is too high!

yep they fit, have them on my van. put them on maybe 5years.
Basically the centre needs opening up a few mm and then I just have 20mm (I think) spaces to sort out the offset issue, you also need longer rear studs and bolts.
Had no problems at all. :ok

Early T4 steel wheels can be 14" so that's a very expensive way of fitting the same size steel wheels as what's already fitted to a T25 but from a different vehicle. :?
If you mean 15" T4 steels then it's cheaper to fit Mercedes steel wheels as they fit straight on(depending on the offset) without the need for enlarging the centre bore and fitting longer bolts, rear studs or spacers.

C-Class estate 6"X15" and 7"X16" steel wheels are ET31 and fit straight on a T25 without any faffing whatsoever..
Part number: A2034000002 for the 15" and A2034001602 for the 16" versions.
There's no 'r' in bought!

mine are 15in, i did want the merc ones but couldnt find any cheap at the time and wanted different wheels as needed new tyres, think i got the T4 wheels for £10 each and they looked almost new. No idea how much the other bits and bobs where, hardest bit was changing the rear studs.
