Shame you have had to rip the interior out. Bit I'd be worried about is the bed frame bolts rusting through the floor.
Can you get someone to look at that

Its in the shop now getting checked,
We're using a wood vinyl thats almost identical to the original.
hopefully we hear good news from the mechanic at the end of the week!

Well done... a lovely thing and that 1.9 should go OK. Maybe it's a DF not a DG though... so wee bit asthmatic.
Trust you find a really good bodywork shop to repair any rust and treat any signs properly - important that, not to rush that - esp if it's been to the seaside a few times, may have to look and work a lot deeper.

Hi guys,
Been busy, we've encountered our first problem - how do you remove the inner door handles from the doors?? we want to recondition the inner fabric.

The handle looks slightly different then in the picture - are you sure its the same? Sorry i dont want to snap anything.

Easy once you know how, part 19 in the pic pops out might need a small flat head screwdriver to help lever it, then you will see the screw holding the surround in place.Replaced mine with chrome ones but also the same fit as the MK1 golf
