yes it has the large pop top that goes up sideways and the flip down buddy seat behind the passenger seat

considering keeping the whole thing retro and not straying too far from the original design, just get some new captain seats in the front and clean it up a bit.

one very happy young camper :D!!!

The interior looked ok, not sure it all needed ripping out?

Shame you have had to rip the interior out. Bit I'd be worried about is the bed frame bolts rusting through the floor.

Can you get someone to look at that

Well done... a lovely thing and that 1.9 should go OK. Maybe it's a DF not a DG though... so wee bit asthmatic.
Trust you find a really good bodywork shop to repair any rust and treat any signs properly - important that, not to rush that - esp if it's been to the seaside a few times, may have to look and work a lot deeper.

Hi guys,

Been busy, we've encountered our first problem - how do you remove the inner door handles from the doors?? we want to recondition the inner fabric.

Here's the handle in question -

Easy once you know how, part 19 in the pic pops out might need a small flat head screwdriver to help lever it, then you will see the screw holding the surround in place.Replaced mine with chrome ones but also the same fit as the MK1 golf
