Best chemical toilet?

Post by ringo »

I have a royal deluxe chemical loo and initially I was very pleased with it. It the perfect height (414mm) for fitting in the little cubby hole that was designed for such things.

Anyway, two years on and in very disappointed with this. Basically it leaks.
It leaks at the seal between the two parts and it leaks when it's turned on its side so I can lift the damn thing up to empty it. As you can imagine, I can do without that.

So, I want a new loo! I had a porta potti before and haven't got any complaints apart from they are expensive - but tbh I don't care - I need a 20litre loo that won't leak after years of use.

Anyone care to recommend theirs?

Cheers,

Ringo

I have got a Bi-Pot 30, it leaks rinse fluid when tipped on its side for carrying. This is not a problem if you know about it, I lift the whole unit out, separate the top tank from the bottom before taking the bottom to empty it. it also leaks rinse fluid through the pump into the bowl while you are travelling. I wouldn't buy another.

Thanks guys. Porta potti 365 I think. Cheapest I've seen is £78 delivered from the world of camping.

I bought a pre-loved Thetford for 35€ - the seller assured me that it had never been logged.
