Traveling through France, free camping spots?
Hi, Im sailing via Portsmouth Caen a week Wednesday and will spend a few days travelling down to the Royon area, where ill be staying for a week or so to start my trip. Any suggestions on spots to stay on the way down? Ive always done it in a car and just nailed it past everywhere, but this time Ill be taking in the spots in the T25. Cant wait! I dont mind going a little out of the way and taking in the west coast and getting some waves, but its not essential as Im heading back up that way.
Any advice appreciated. Thanks

i'd suggest taking the boat from royan over to point des graves and i could suggest futher places along the coast after that going south, but since you only want freebies i won't bother.
i'll be over that way in 10 days or so and spending some ill gotten gains. it is after all holidays..............

Re: Traveling through France, free camping spots?
i paid something around €20 for the boat last year, they seem to rate a VW bus as a car and don't charge the "camper" price which is about €8 more on the price list i got from some tourist info office hot babe.
