3/4 width Rock and Roll beds..Dimensions required pleasssse!

Post by normalbloke »

Hi all, i have purchased a spangly set of R and R hinges from JK.I am looking to start cutting the wood pretty soon.
I am looking for as many people as possible to post the width of the seat panel and also the back rest if it differs.
Any feed back will be massively appreciated!!

Many thanks!

what are you using in the remaining 1/4 of width in your bus
if you having a cooker an sink, you should start with their dimention, as if you work on the width of your bed/ seat, you could find that your cooker or sink wouldn't fit the gap you can't cut it down
in my t3 my bed is 1250mm wide, which allowed me plenty of space to fit in next to it a cooker and sink

I am fitting out a 1.6td H reg T25 flat top van .My rock&roll seatbed is full length built from square steel tube broken table frames.Rock&roll hinges where on a badly made wooden base when i got the van.The fiddly bit is getting the angle right for the rock&roll hinges to bolt on.It will be finished off with exterior ply wood and varnished .Backboard and seat base to be made still .Done a few of these but when finished comfort.
