Hi,
Looking for some recommendations for getting some seams repaired on an 89 hi-top in the Bath/Bristol area?
Thanks,
Paul

Re: Recommendations for seam repair in Bath/Bristol area
Hi Paul, I thought I would let you know about my experiences. I am collecting mine from VDubresto (Rangeworthy near Yate) tomorrow after they have removed the high top which was coming away and repaired a huge amount of rust, and welded new sections back in before resealing the top. I will update you how I get on. Previously I had used Moores Motors in Clevedon who are very good but very expensive. I was a newbie who bought a van that has needed everything doing to do it. New engine, new fuel system, new electrics the lot. Mark at VDubresto has been very very helpful and encouraging but I will find out tomorrow when I collect. They have also replaced a fuel pump for me after finding the source of the smelly fuel leak that had been causing me some concern.
Considering we are the 'gateway to the sun' there doesn't seem to be a lot of choice in this area. I did post on this forum for suggestions in the past but didn't get a lot of replies - hence sticking with expensive garage in Clevedon.
I will update soon. Helen (near Clevedon)
