floor scuff protection just inside sliding door

Post by pmoc_2001 »

I'm currently redoing the floor before I cover it again with new ply. I am thinking of doing it in 3 sections. Area behind fridge, under bed and the rest.

I removed the sticky vinyl scuff protection from the floor and need to replace it. Does anyone know where to get this stuff from? Are there any better methods of doing this with a special paint for example?

Also, the original conversion by Luna did not insulate the floor and I hear that this is quite common. Did they know better 20 years ago as everyone seems to insulate their floor now?

Thanks

Thanks for the info on the protectakote i'll see if I can get so similar stuff.

Just what I thought refence the insulation. I intended to use 12mm ply as this size was removed with the easy clean lino you get in hospitals an office corridors stuck on top. Then allow my wife to choose a rug  .
