Had a little poke around the inner sill near the rear jacking point and was left with this.

Next job was to sort this bit out. After an unsuccessful asking around for a bit to let in here so as that it matches the other side the decision was to just make a bit to cover it. I am presuming the hole and raised bit that was there is purely cosmetic? Won't see much when the bumpers on anyway. Jon.

This was the bit I wasn't looking forward to at all, don't know why just doesn't seem straight forward. Jon.

So the plan was to cut bits out and weld new in and if anything make it bigger so I can cut back when I have a seal and window. Jon.

Bottom run done. Cutting the new metal for the lower left corner of the window was bloody hard for an amateur like me. Jon.

Looking good, make sure you trial fit the window before you fill any joints and begin painting [ cos I did it once and didn't try the glass and had to do it all again. Many years ago, you understand.. ]

This is what I did today, used soudaflex to seal the rear arch and surrounding area. Was sticky fun but used gloves this time. :D Jon.

Started off with this today, the sliding door had had the outer skin chopped off by the previous owner. Jon.
