ouit comes the propex, im a little dissapointed with the installation for many reasons , here i note there is no sealant around rthe hole, gonna let loads of water in and under the flooring

gas tank and all of the mess of stuff out of the way

i never knew the waste drain went down behind the tank and into the grey tank...

as suspected, the rear is feeling sad with itself, so no doubt the bottom of the rear 1/4 will be cut away to get access, also have to shift the gas v/v gear, bu*****..still as steve s just fitted it ,it will come out easy...

a quick exploratory cut to define the extent of the damage, the funny whitish thing is filler that squirted through in time gone bye

there are..so all out and a new inner floor to make and fit as well
so cut a bit more

someone has been here before of course

you can see the mess here is the remnant of the original sill and the repair has been to tack a bit of plate over it, wrong ,in never works in this area.

nasty

when i get further into it i will decide on the best way to sort it, my preference is to repair the sill after cutting out ,but it may be so far gone that a new sill is worth cutting down and using,
its not all doom. the c post here is untouched, just caught it in time and there is no trace of rustproffing so a real miracle

mm
