Yes a foam brush though, these have a tapered edge available off ebay cheap. Seconds after rollering pull the brush lightly over the wet paint all in one long motion perhaps twice back and forward then leave, practice first to get the knack. Will post a pic of a brush later, cheers.

Mind you, theyre usually the ones that just pay other people to do work on their vans and sneer at everyone else

Hi go a pack off ebay, about 4 different sizes, cheap just throw away after use. Will attempt a photo later but the last one i tried about 40 holiday snaps loaded on, cheers.

photo of foam brush this was the largest i used to do the sides etc,smaller for round the windows etc in fact didn't roller the windows just painted straight off with about 30 mm size. I found it important to only pull the brush all along the bit you're doing in one go, perhaps do this twice when covered with paint, also light pressure with the brush at approx 45 degrees, cheers. sorry no photo had to delete as other pics went on, can't get the hang of posting just one photo, sorry.

Hi all,

I rollered my van a couple of years ago in the original lime green (got the rustoleum colour matched) but it seems to have faded a little since. It's very subtle but I notice it. Is that to be expected? I've not been very diligent at waxing it (maybe once a year...), not sure if that has played its part.

Any recommendations on a colour restorer to use on rustoleum? I used T-cut on the original paint years ago (before it got rollered) and it worked a treat. I know I could just roller a new coat over the van but a rub with a light cutting compound like T-cut would certainly be easier!

Those who painted their van RAL 9010 white (not L90D), did you use Smooth (7392) or Satin (7394)?

Rustoleum paint 5% discount available.

Now that Spring is here, I need to finish my van! Two thin coats of rustoleum were applied late last summer so should be well cured by now and ready for the final top coat.

Proberly been asked befor but, ive rollered 3 vans in the past, with good success. Was just wondering if anyone had rolled their fiberglass tops and what did they come out like ??
