It would be good to see what it looks like. I have got 16 shocks, which work fine, but the cover/protective part? That covers the actual working part of the shock (carp description i know)
Has started to break up. Off topic i know but can you get just that part?

Yes.. but you need to make sure they really are the 944 parts, lots are being sold as 944, but are actually bus ones...
