Does the window film come off easy?
Hi there all,
After many hours of decision making I actually bought the film from e-bay and had a go myself, for 16 quid I felt I had to have a go, however, I'm not 100% happy with the finish and was wondering if anyone has tried taking the old film off the windows? Has anyone taken it off and had trouble?
I now want to know where the best place is to get this completed if anyone knows anywhere near to Bexleyheath, Kent I would much appreciate a recommendation?
Added some photos to let you have alook.

it doesn't look so bad to me, although i spose you'd have to see it up close. i want mine doing but can't really afford to have it done proper. can't make my mind up as to whether to have a go myself or not.
can you tint on the outside of the window? reason i ask s that i have a rear window in my van with wardrobe unit fitted in front of it. wouldn't be able to tint this windo unless i took window out which is not within my capabilities really....

CamperVan Window Tinting - Anyone Recommend it?
Did mine last year as sun was too strong for my 5 year old. Bought dark smoke off ebay and fitted it myself, it has mad a big difference to the appearance and is not too dark for night driving.
I work in the sign industry so i have the advantage of knowing how to do it.
It may be more cost effective to but it yourself and then find a local sign company to fit it.

Hi I used to do this for a living, it can be quite tricky but with a little patience you will soon get the hang of it. The best things to reme, ber are as follows
1. Use a spray bottle with warm water and a little squirt of liquid.
2. Spray the window and the film you dont need loads just a good covering.
3. Cut the vinyl tint as close to the size required before peeling back the vinyl.
4. Use a sharp scalpel/stanley knife, dont trim untill dry or it will snag.
5. Go to your local sign maker they will always have a spare squeegy around (about 20p new).
I have a couple still if you would like one I could send in the post to you. Could do the job for you aswell FOC if you supplied the tint but feel the distance would be to far to travel.
