One set that are ignition live, and come direct from the ignition coil connection. (Black wires).
Fuel cut off / anti-dieselling solenoid

The second is the manifold heater (red wire).

The manifold heater.

Controlled via relay.
Referred to as J81.
Manifold Intake Preheater Relay.

Relay pin 1 [86] -
Lilac with black stripe -
Going to the the thermo-switch on the left end of the manifold.

The black wire from the other switch pin goes to the coil.

Relay pin 6 [85]
Brown wire with multiple tails to ground.

Relay pin 2 [30]
Fat red wire to the carb preheater, and thin red wire to the part throttle channel heater.

Relay pin 8 [87]
Fat red wire to battery live feed - not fused.
The bolt in the junction box to the alternator and starter.

It does not matter if the reds are the wrong way round on the relay.
That is - Pins 2[30] and 8[87] can be fitted either way round.
I dont know if i have a problem understanding, but i only have one relay in the black box situated in the engine bay, ill try to cut off all sleeves and trace all wires

Where does your breather from the tower go?

Hi @shepster, if you'd kindly highlight in a photo, I'd be glad to share where it goes on my engine. Note I'm not sure all is connected properly, but the engine does run well.
