7hrs from east Kent ? Double Figures is more likely. Wales won’t be going anywhere soon so looking at other options is worthwhile .

Hey Aidan - if conditions allow and people think it's a good idea I volunteer to operate a barbeque. Bring some Brazilian skills to the event. Last time also discussed with Clive I could do a survival skills workshop.

Thanks Fabio..
I think on the Sunday a survival skills workshop would be great, if we organised it a bit in advance rather than just adhoc, that can work but sometimes doesn't.
Barbecue too
We are currently awaiting the landowner to give us some date options. Thinking last w/in July, or 1st in August.
Thanks for kicking the discussion off early Aidan, we need to get ahead of the game this year, to pick our spot (date)...
Although its up for debate, my vote would be to stay central in Llanfyllin, one reason is its the devil we know (quite well now).. and theres an extra field we can use, except its about 3 big fields (and some very challenging slopes (!!!) if its wet)
On the assumption that I actually manage to get there this time, the end of July would be the only one I/we could attend. Already committed (cave rescue meeting) at the beginning of August.
I think the 5th to the 7th of August is also the T3 meeting weekend.
So one vote for July here.
But probably best to pick a date based on the people that can definitely attend.
Good luck whichever date is chosen

Its been cancelled for the last two years obviously so this will be the first Busmeet at the new venue.
I will be attending as a trader/sponsor so please not 5-7 August. Its a great little show, nothing but T3's...

If then its last w/e in July then... we'll maybe be mixing it with half a dozen trials bikes... not a problem IMHO, we normally keep out of one anothers way.
personally, I don't want to share the site, I'd rather go elsewhere
remember Doug's farm
we got some grief last year from the locals as it was (there is some local antipathy to all the bikes and motorbikes all over the site and the obvious degradation of the site that wasn't an issue when we started using it) but if there's a bunch of trials bikes we'll end up tipytoeing around them and they ime act like they own the place, park all over the area we turn to go up the hill, and they make a lot more noise than we do which rather spoils the vibe
