Agree, I used to anneal two stroke copper head gaskets on the gas cooker. REALLY, I can't remember not having magnetic ones in recent years. When changing the oil at least 3 times a year, it's comforting to know that the 'Christmas tree' is no worse than than the last oil change (fingers crossed that this doesn't change for the worse).
Why would the glass be anything other than half full?
