Seat swap

Post by dbs153 »

I’m just wondering if there are any modern(ish) driver and single passenger seats that would be a straight swap for my 1981 T3 ones without the need for new runners etc.

Nothing is a straight swap , all require either drilling or welding

Early T4 use the same runners iirc? Mercedes Vito W639 also have shallow seat bases and use a similar design of runners, in fact most/all Mercedes have twin runners.
A lot of cars have had a 3-point mountng for some time.
