Insulation Inside Panels.

I've posted here as the camper section has little activity over the last five years.

What's the general consensus for rock wool packed against intervals of bodywork? Some say it hold moisture and rots internally. Others' say it is fine.

I bought this camper two years ago. All the cavities for doors and hatch are filled this way. There are no signs of internal or external rust on any four opening panels.

I thought about fixing radiator insulation to panels using heavy duty carpet glue, then repack with rock wool.

I done my van 4 years ago. Close cell foil foam then insulation from b and a (made from plastic). The noise reduction and insulation is stunning

Thanks for your answer.
I can't be certain this is the original insulation. There's a bit of foil insulation either side which leads to believe it is a recent replacement.
That's partly my concern. But it all feels bone dry.

Rockwool holds water stu, when I stripped the LT it had that in it and it was like a waterlogged sponge,
I'd get the recycled plastic loft insulation its very good for heat holding doesnt hold water.
