I just have to say that looking back at some of my messages, is a bit like looking at my previous wiring - what the hell was I doing? Anyone else understand that? lol
Anyway, at some point way in the future and now in the past, I connected the pre-heater and everything is OK. I presume the battery was on it's way out or I had a bad earth, of which I have now replaced and repaired.
