Hi all!
I am thinking about buying a thermal windscreen cover for my van. Unfortunately silverscreens .co.uk is not shipping outside mainland UK after Brexit, but would send it to somebody in the UK who could send it towards me.
Brickwerks and JK also have their version in stock and I could buy from them directly.
On the pics the JK one looks worse than the other two, that looks similar, so my question is if somebody compared them IRL: is the "original" silverscreens cover worth the hassle asking favours, or the BW is identical and I am better to order that directly to me?
THX!

I have an original silverscreens one in my westy, had it over 25 years he's just difficult to deal with, I remember collecting it, all very cloak and dagger, I had to pull up ouside his house down a dirt track and beep my horn! He opened the gate, loooked each way then passed me the screen, took the cash and dissapeared back inside super quick, a very strange experience indeed!

The silver screen it starting to show it's age now, it's done well, I can't fault it.
Frustratingly there is a company literally around the corner from here that makes them but they are crazy too, maybe it's the material that sends them all weird?

We used to buy them from down south a few years ago, he got greedy, put the price up to a point we'd never sell them.
I've also tried another local-ish company but they lost my sample, took about a year to get it back!
So, it's been a bit on an ordeal trying to get these done to a quality and price that we're happy with.
Ours is ours, not bought in, took a lot of time to get right, UK made, I have a pile of prototypes here that don't quite fit I need to bin!
If you need more pics just ask.

Thanks Simon,
Yes, it seems like they are "oldschool" people.
Their price is £199 for the "fold down" version with postage within UK, so about the same as yours shipped to me. Their have to be made, yours is ready to dispatch.
VAT and customs have to paid locally on both.
On the pics I can see around the webs it looks like their one is a tighter fit, however I have an aerial on the A pillar so that would affect that.
Is yours fit with an aerial? On the webshop pic it seems like it would.
How it fits around the corners?
Are the wrinkles on yours is just storage or it is different material?
A few more pic would be nice.
Thanks!

Re: silverscreens
Wrinkles are because it was taken stright out of the bag, fitted, photo'd then put back away, they'll smooth out once fitted for a few hours.
Ours are pretty thick, not super tight either, I'm pretty sure your antenna would be fine.
You'll get club discount too.

Re: silverscreens
I forgot that discount is only calculated after adding items to the basket.
Then yours is cheaper delivered to me and the main difference is the "OG" has the "fold down" front part and the hassle
I will talk ith through with my treasurer and my bank account
