Bought a T25 with sliding door hinge/roller assembly missing. Sourced replacement, took off door, installed hinge, reinstall door. Slid it open and shut a few times no bother.
Closed it again and suddenly the lock (rear of the door obviously) that grabs the striker pin has jammed closed. Or more specifically, the top one of the two little pivoted claws is in the down position, has grabbed the striker pin and won’t let go.
The lower ‘claw’ does drop down and clear the upper claw, which should then jump up and release the striker pin - but it does not.
Anyone know how to make the upper claw release its grip? Thanks (I have no doubt that the door alignment will need looking at once the lock issue is resolved).

Can we swap? My sliding door falls off if you don't close it very carefully
it's on my long list to find out why but right now I'm happy it actually is just shut.

Re: Sliding door lock jammed, can’t/won’t release
Fixed this. I had to loosen the striker pin, and the hinge bolts, and it was a case of realigning the door. I followed the Bentley manual hints. Door opens and closes sweetly now, not as difficult as I’d imagined.
