So I am wondering if there is some sort of cover I can get to put over just the roof. I know you can get full van covers but I just want something I can quickly throw over the roof in heavy rain and not have to worry about getting my hair washed while I sleep.

Roof cover.
Hi all, wondering if anyone knows if something I'm thinking of exists
. Bringing big blue to Scotland this year for about 3 weeks end of July into August. I am definitely expecting rain which is grand, nothing to different to here in Ireland, but I have a mystery leak that conveniently enough drips over where my head lays when I sleep.

Re: Roof cover.
How about some kind of tarp that goes over the van but also provides a bit of a canopy over the doors.
Is it raining in?

How have I been so thick, of course just get a tarp. That's me trying to overcomplicate things as usual
. Thanks for that, gonna look up one now. Hopefully won't even need it but it's just a useful thing to have just in case. Weather was brutal in France last year and the drop used get to me at least two or three times a week.

Straightforward, cheap but don't last forever. Good for this sort of occasional thing

Re: Roof cover.
Hi, just a thought.
It might be worth getting ½ dozen or more small G claps and some small strips of wood to clamp the sheet to the gutter.
sorry, it's a poor sketch but the ideas is there.
Regards Gary
PS somewhere for a washing line as well

Re: Roof cover.
Thanks for the link Michael4, and good idea using some clamps as well bat!. Ya it is literally just a short term solution....that will inevitably turn into a long term solution

Re: Roof cover.
I had this very problem with my Danbury. I believe it got in through the seam in the rear door gutter. It's between the hinge and top rorner. I rubbed in some PU sealer which cured it.

Re: Roof cover.
Cheers for that suggestion. I will have a look later and see if I can see anything around that area.
