Rear window rubber for T3

Post by Raido »

Me again!
My 1987 Auto Sleeper high top leaks like a sieve from the tailgate window so I want to replace the window rubber. From what I’ve read there are both good and bad fitting rubbers, can anyone suggest a good one and if so who from?
I realise that there may be some work required to the frame although it looks pretty sound, but the existing rubber is so badly cracked it’s almost become a sponge.

Many thanks.

The german Vewib made rubbers are good quality for the OE style all around.
AFAIK they are the suppliers for VW Classicparts.

Brickwerks has them.
