CS 1.6D cam belt change tools?

Post by Paul7502 »

Hi, I am looking to change the cam belt on my 1.6D CS T25.

I have just watched a Utube vid which says I need a locking tool for the crank, a locating pin thingi for the injector pump and a locking device for the cam.
I should think I could use a file or something for the slot on the cam but not sure of the crank and pump tools.

Do I need a special kit or can I get away with using some other method?

There is a new belt and tensioner on eBay for a reasonable £45 but no complete kit.

Advice appreciated before I buy the belt only to find out i have got to buy the tools which perhaps come with a belt.

I cant find a complete kit online.

Thanks.

All you need to swap a belt

But, good practice to check the pump timing too, then you need to spend more money.
