New flooring

Post by freckvan1 »

Morning All,
Replacing plywood flooring in the van .
Everything cleaned up and painted .
Put down 12,- mm marine ply , thinking of securing using No.4 25mm length stainless self tappers .
As plywood is 12mm and floor approx 2mm then am I ok using 25mm length , or shorter ?
I’ll be using 2pk primer and Dinitrol for screws exposed underneath .
Any suggestions welcome !
Tab,
Chris

Be careful not to puncture the fuel tank or any of the pipes underneath!
1.9D (AEF) pop-top. Aaaaahhhhh........that's better.
