My Mechanic is working on it now and has mentioned there is no hot air feed to the air box which helps on cold starts but my current exhaust does have one. Is this going to be a problem?
He's also encountered a snapped bolt on the head from the old exhaust that needs to be heli-coiled. Great

The warm air feed isn't required over here, you'll be fine without it.
