What Fuel
Hi, I have a T25 1980 2l Aircooled, what fuel do you recommend I use, thanks in advance Steve

To elaborate , E5 has up to 5% ethanol, so is the lowest risk , however e10 has up to 10% , so not a great deal more , so when ever you can use e5 , but if you cant get e5 dont panic, mixing it in the tank will dilute the 10 and increase the 5 ….
If you know you are going to leave the vehicle standing , try and ensure its just got e5 and dont leave it standing with a empty tank, the fuller the better , ethanol attracts and absorbs moisture, so the less chance of condensation the better …( the same rules as reducing the risk of Diesel bug ) and less chance of it “eating” the seals and rubber in the carb and engine bay

And renew all the rubber fuel lines with FKM 100% ethanol resistant rubber and inspect them regularly. Its not cheap, but then an engine fire is rather more costly.
