Sliding door upper guide piece

Hi all. Have some annoying rattling somewhere in the upper door area that I'm struggling to pin down. My upper guide arm has a ball bearing on the ball socket that runs in the guide rail with quite a lot of play on either side. Had a look online and found the square nylon block that is used as a guide piece. Some advertise it for vans 80-85, others for all vans early or late. Is the ball bearing the correct piece to have here? I feel the nylon block will be a snugger fit and may eliminate my rattling. Cheers.
