205/65/16c for a couple of reasons;

1. It’s a 1.9 dg hightop camper, while it’s in good fettle I didn’t want to go too much larger than standard and labour engine on hills etc.

2. I got an extremely good deal on 4 hankook vantra tyres from a camper conversion company. About a year old and nearly full tread.

If I was putting my hand in my pocket now, I reckon I’d go for 215/65/16 for a slightly taller tyre as 205/70/16 don’t seem readily available

I'll keep that in mind I did think about swapping like for like, but not sure if they will be too big.

205/80/16 are big- 28.91 inches.  youll need a higher than stock van for those (or a tall syncro), at least if you want to turn corners :)
i use 27" tall (215/65/16) which fit fine, but our van does sit quite high as a stock, with lift spacers on the back.

Bring it to tod next time youre here and you can try some wheels out! (we've moved from where you saw it last time)

Yeah moving up to be with the Mrs family as she's been away from there the least 10 years or so. Be a nice change and lots of green to walk around in and cycle around.

I've finally got these fitted today. Lots of heaving and whacking with hammers to change the rear studs for longer. Too long as it turns out !

Rear hub nut was a 'challenge'.

I just need some of those centre caps now, found them on UK eBay I think-

Do we think these are the same ones?

Looks great. I'd have sorted mine by now but the gearbox decided to crap itself last week so I've got to sort that before other bits go on :roll:

I just found a massive crack in the exhaust, pipe has sheared in two guess I'm off the road now too! It sounds like a spitfire, but not in a good way. These things test us..

I've got a set of these to go on my van, but need refurb and not even begun to figure out ET and studs and spacers etc.  16" merc wheels.
Anyone else done the hard figuring out of putting a set on their T3 yet?Image
