Things I've learned over past couple of days of van tinkering. If you are having problems getting the foil backed 'blackouts' to stay on, give the suckers a really good clean with a 'window' product as well as your windows and they stick on really well. I was having problems getting even new ones to stick. Saw this on another forum BTW. Second, take some of the advice posted on forums like this with a big pinch of salt. The person who claimed only a little oil would seep out if you replaced the rocker box cork gaskets must have had very little oil left in their engine because if like mine your van was jacked up or on a side slope, I can assure you that plenty does.
