Fiamma bike rack disassembly

Post by Devonaire »

I'm looking for a used Fiamma T3 rack and might have to drive a fair distance to get one so I'd rather use my estate car to collect. Does anyone know if these racks come apart so you can flat pack it? namely does the horizontal unbolt from the vertical or are they rivetted together?

It's riveted, at least ours is, but you could drill those out easily and pop new ones back in when you're home. They're just normal pop rivets, though I'd get a photo of them before you travelled anywhere, just incase.

Mine is bolted together with stainless nuts and bolts, but is a T4 rack. Takes very little to modify to fit a T25, and may be easier to find locally.

The instructions on the Fiamma website suggest it comes as a kit of parts, so I’m guessing it should be possible to split it into pieces.
