I went back to stock from a BMW brake servo as that was too light pedal feel and the
Now it is too hard
I got the BMW one for about a month or two in (~2000kms) so I think I still remember how it was before. And it was lighter
I washed the inside of the booster with brake cleaner and replaced the disintegrated foam on the shaft.
Did I ruin the booster with the wash? Was the foam too dense ans sealing the air outlet?
I measured vacuum, the vacuum pump makes around -25 inHg at idle. The booster holds vacuum with a slight but constant drop 1 inHg/min
Checked one of my buddies van, and his pedal is defo lighter. Just as I remembered mine.
Noticed two things:
On mine if I press the pedal quick, it is softer than if I press slowly. His seemed to work the same.
And my pedal sits lower than his.
