Seat Belt Bolt size?

Hi All,

long shot but does any one know what size the seatbelt buckle bolt is that screws into the seat tubs? there's a a threaded nut inside that they bolt into? need a couple for my MOT

Yes agreed -
it is the industry standard 7/16" UNF x 20 threads per inch. (Unified Fine Thread).

One of the few imperial threads you will find on many mainland Europe vehicles.

If you need to drill and tap the thread, like I had to for my rear seatbelt locations in a van...
The drill size is 9.9mm dia.
1983 Tin Top with a poorly DF and 4 speed DT box.
1987 Electrics and a DJ engine.
Maybe one day I might get it finished
