Aircooled: Fuel Pump replacement

Hi all

2.0L CU Aircooled. I'm replacing my fuel pump because its leaking petrol, and the gaskets are leaking oil.

Few questions:
I've seen a few posts saying to pack the pump with grease - is this right? It obviously gets splashed to some extent with engine oil (hence my oil leak) so is it necessary? No trace of grease on the old one, unless it's all been washed away...
If so, which grease? Haynes said to lubricate the pushrod with MoS2 - is this the grease to use for the pump?
Does anyone know the torque setting for the pump connection? It's not in Haynes...
