Blank Ashtray Pod.

Post by Robsey »

A few werks ago I asked a company specialising in mods for the T25, whether they would supply an undrilled ashtray insert for my dash.

Tonight, they have put them on sale on ebay.
I like it when a vendor listens to it's customers.

I am sure I will get into 3D printing one day...
Just like I eventually got dragged into mobile phones and computers (internet).

I fought for years against joining the 21st Century.

I gave SHC the dimensions that I needed,

Fingers crossed and looking forward to seeing if the 'blank' ashtray adapter is big enough for my 80s red led clock display...

another bit of panda'ing to my wife's tendency to cling to things from the past. It is identical to the clock in her very first car... a 1981 (W suffix reg) Alfa pocket-rocket.

If the standard sized ashtray adapter is too small, it will get utilised one way or another.

Ao lot of their stuff does look really good. I'm interested in their chequerplate sliding door step and maybe the front lift kit.

Fitted the clock to the ashtray insert.
It only just fits.
