Hello,
This is on an air-cooled...(same thing really)..

This is with a SVDA capsule, you will probably want the DVDA version...

Cordialement,

:ok

Svda is correct for a DG. They run pretty well on the powerspark setup.

I've had a pretty "pooh" time with mine to be fair, wrong one was sent out first, then the second one sent out kept destroying rotor caps, which caused the van to cut out about a mile from home. Was told to tap the ring down on it which with a few light taps promptly broke it, so off it went again, got it back was still burning through the carbon brushes on the caps and causing the engine to cut out. Changed arm and cap, still did it, I've given up on sending it back again as it's costing money to do it each time and I was getting nowhere. Tried yet another cap and arm and it seemed to have sorted it.. ish, I'm still getting rev drops at low revs when I'm just coasting or crawling so I have to give it a tiny bit of throttle. The HT leads supplied seem to be questionable, the King lead snapped at the plug connection within the cable so I was getting odd ignition from that as well.
The coil that came with the kit seems OK so thats about the only thing that seems to function OK.. but for all I know that could be causing the rev dropping... as it's a different spec to VW standards.
I'd put my original dissy back in but the amp module died which is why I've been using this one.

Wiring simple as it turn out!

Problem is the bloody thing will not go all the way in (not because the cam isn’t lined up on the dizzy bottom), even test fitting without the seal and dizzy clamp, it just won’t budge!!

Thinking of taking a dremel to the upper shaft above the seal (after masking off the rest)?

Anyone else had this problem, with the powerspark svda on a late DG?
