Coolant hoses.

Big lumps of metals and spanners. Including servicing and fluids.

Coolant hoses.

Post by escovedo »

Can anyone advise on what coolant hose mods are required
when replacing the injection system on my 2.1 DJ engine van
with the Pierburg carb manifold etc.

Early or late cooling system?

I can take some pics of my Pierburg setup for you, but I have a late cooling system.
Post some pics up of what you have.

Nice.

Just cooking tea - give me an hour or so and I will post some pics of mine.
Would appreciate some of yours too if still in situ.

I'm actually looking to go the other way eventually - pierburg to digijet. Still acquiring parts.

Do you still have your old DJ setup?

What about the oil cooler pipework? Can it be used with carb set-up?

Not sure - I think the DJ had 6 outlets on the bleed rail too. I'm sure I have seen that somewhere before.

Just hoping to get some pics up of mine, then pick the bones out of it?

Thanks for your help, the coolant hoses required are 025121053c
inlet manifold to thermostat housing. 025121108j header tank
to carb choke housing. 025121060a carb choke housing to manifold.

Looks to me like the oil cooler pipework is not affected.
