Exhaust advice

Post by banjax34 »

The exhaust silencer/heat exchanger system on my air cooled 2L petrol CU is finally giving in to rust. The heat exchangers I will have to get from JK or similar but I was after advice on the silencer options. Standard box, stainless standard box or one of the quietpak systems ? Any advice greatly appreciated, cheers 👍

The original exhaust quite efficient acting as a large expansion box, If you want a long lasting exhaust, then go for the original type stainless one. https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/t3-parts/e ... steel.html

They are all made by the same manufacturer, poor quality compared to the originals. Just find who sells them the cheapest.
