I seem to remember someone fitting a multivan bed into the back of a doka in the past.
I think it was a squeeze but possible, any info + pictures would be great.

Re: multivan bed in a doka
Jed at CVC made a video about it (is it the same doka that was sold around, or it is a different one?):

Re: multivan bed in a doka
cool.. thank you.
I wanted to get a better idea of how it would fit. looks like it sort of works but leg room is reduced when its in the seat position.
I was helpful to be able to show my wife a video...

Re: multivan bed in a doka
having looked a bit more into it, I think we are going to try to go down the route of having a front double seat folding flat to meat the rear seat.

Re: multivan bed in a doka
Its a horrible compromise just to have a bad nights sleep* and probably unsafe too, as the twin front seat has to be fully supported by a partial bulkhead.
You'd be better off with a rooftent on the load bed.
*It may be possible to sleep two people transversely in a doka if they are not much over 5' tall.

Re: multivan bed in a doka
yes I am aware the rear upright section needs a proper support. The doka its for currently has the divider section in currently.
I still have a very well made bolt in support section that came from a caravelle that I had. for my other half + boy they are short enough. to sleep across the rear. not an option for me though.
I would much rather have two front seats as well (recaro's !! that I already have and like a lot.) I have another option that we are going to look at.
roof tent is not an option on the roof as we have a height restriction to deal with. And our roof box is going on the load bed cover.
Much later down the line the plan is for a demountable.
