Installing CRX50 fridge - where do the screws go?

Post by sweetaswesty »

So I'm feeling pretty stupid but in my defence the installation instructions for this expensive fridge are almost non-existent.
I know you have to prise out the little plastic caps from the inside of the fridge and screw self tappers through the wall of the fridge into the adjoining cabinetry.
But does the self tapper (A) simply lap against the plastic and then go through the metal wall of the fridge or (B) do you have to use a larger bit and remove the plastic entirely so the self tapper laps right up against the inside metal edge of the fridge?
I realise this description is a bit complicated so here's a pic of what I mean. And if it just laps up against the plastic doesn't that make the install a bit fragile?
I'm probably over thinking this. Thanks for any advice!Image

I’ve found an answer. The first option (A) is the correct one in case any one else is interested!
