Interior plywood panels
Hi ,is it worth painting the backs of new plywood panels with something like yacht varnish to help protect them from any water ,condensation or damp that might get to them.

And use a sheet of plastic as a vapour barrier. DIY stores often sell very large sheets as dust covers
