Hi, bought some g11 antifreeze for my 1.9dg. On opening up the bottle and pouring it out, it seems thick, gloopy but viscous?. Is this normal? Its the jk blue g11.
Thanks

Concentrated stuff? if so dilute it with some distilled/deionized water.

Re: New antifreeze gloopy?
Not sure if antifreeze has a shelf life even if unopened. Give it a good shake before diluting as it may have been sitting for a while. After that pour a bit out into a container to see if there are any bits in it. I had some old screen wash which I was about to use then noticed that it had bits in it which would have clogged up the jets, and before anybody comments I was not going to use it as a coolant.

I have had heated nipples block with some screen wash, and in the container if left somewhere too hot. I shall do a test mix tomorrow.
