What would you put with pastel white?
So, true to form I haven't done enough research and now have a minor dilemma. Van has had it's coats of pastel white and is waiting for it's bottom colour. Was planning on turkis green bottom half but it seems this best goes with bleuweiss and not the pastel. In light of this, I'm thinking of a last minute change to bamboo yellow, which I think complements the pastel well - although it's a bit 'out there' and bright for a shy retiring chap like myself!
Anyone have any thoughts/experiences of a good colour to compliment the pastel? Cheers!

I'm afraid I'm a bit of a purist - I'd leave it all pastel white, and just offset with some subtle dark grey shades for bumpers, wheels etc. But if you decide to go with another colour then I'd suggest you spend some time thinking about the layout and detailing, particularly the transition around the a-pillar, where you don't have the panelling profile to follow, and the colour of the front end.

Ha! Yes, that would be the easiest thing to do right now and I totally get where you are coming from. We are set on the lines and will be going half and half all the way round, finishing just above the grill at the front. This means a (very) slight upward taper towards the A pillar as it comes round the side of the van from the front. Thanks for your replay.

Is there an editing paint tool on your PC you can use to alter the colours and lines on the images to see what they look like before going to print or paint so to speak.

Thanks guys. Have used the T3design before, will give it another go. After some real world experiences, if anyone out there has put it with another colour.

This two tone with red looks great, although I’m not sure if the white is pastel:

Sorry another 'purist' I like the 'Whitestar' German look with SA bits since seeing one at Le Mans, maybe with black detail around the window line

Have you thought about something more like a band or stripe - not so much a graphic, but something that adds a bit of alternative colour while leaving the van predominantly pastel white? Perhaps like this (although obviously not the colours or logos):

We did think of something similar to that. Planning on going with the same as the one below in terms of lines.

I’m a huge fan of bamboo yellow...but I am biased! Our wheels are pastel white
I’ve always liked VW’s choice of colours, but according to these, the only colour which goes with pastel white is pastel white
I’d say go for turkis green if that was your first choice. what would you regret more - going green, or not

Re: What would you put with pastel white?
I absolutely love the 'medium blue' in the vw colour charts there. If I didn't have a bamboo yellow bus, I'd go for that blue. Goes quite nicely with pastel white I think also

Anyone know if this is a T25 colour? Saima green possibly? It could be the direction of travel!
