Easiest option is to bin all the transformers and replace with GU10 240volt bulb holders, simply swap, only 2 wires.  (approx £1.50 each from elecrtical trade counters)
Then fit GU10 LED bulbs I get them from Home Bargains @ £1.49 -£1.99 each. I have done this at my place of work. Reduce fire risk and energy bill in one go. MR16 Halogens use 50W whereas GU10 LED use only 5W.

I would be interested to see if any of the halogen lamps were 35 watt.
Changing to LED is the right way to go i am sure.

For now l have wired in just one halogen spot, instead of two, with new Saxby transformer. And its working fine.
But will likely go GU10 LED in near future.
Thanks for all the advice
