1.9 carb service kit

Post by chewbacca »

Hi all.

A friend is going to look over my carb for me. This one...

I see Brickwerks do a carb kit...

Brickwerks item here

I can see I need to workout which push rod length I have, but other than the kit, is there anything else I ought to get before he starts work?
With the current COVID precautions in place, I'd prefer to let him have everything at once instead of having to keep sending additional bits over.

Many thanks for the advice.

Cheers Mocki.

I thought that from that picture, but from the brickwerks description, I think I need to look at the carb from the left hand side to be sure. I think? lol

If there anything else worth doing to the carb while it's in bits, other than the bits in that kit?

Thanks.

Hi Chewie,

Have a look at the James Akers vids on you tube, some good info in them.

I've sent them onto my mate to have a look at as well. Thank you for those links.

I've got a better photo of the carb as well tonight. I think that makes it the 19mm rod on my carb. :ok

I'll get a kit ordered up soon as possible & get it all over to him.
