ImageImageThere is a covered 3 pin plug in my 2L CU Aircooled engine bay
Any ideas what it is for?

It’s the TDC sensor for a defunct bit of VW kit , chop it off , it’s useless , pointless !

It’s no not needed as above but I like to have a factory look so leave them, looks like yours even still has the waterproof plug too
