Fitting / sealing roof vent
Hi help needed I have a leaky roof vent and am wondering whether something like Plumbers Mait would make a suitable non setting bedding compound when I refit the vent, thanks

Re: Fitting / sealing roof vent
Ive always used external glazing sealant. Works every time (for me) and last longer than likely ownership of camper.

Sikaflex lastomer 710, made for the job and never fails. Plumbers mate would probably do it but it’s quite ‘stiff’ and would need quite a bit of pulling down to guarantee no small gaps.
