Cover for External Luggage Compartment over Cab

Post by Piratepete »

Hi Guys
My 1990 Holdsworth Villa 3 Poptop has a luggage compartment above the cab. Currently this fills with rain water because a previous owner has filled the drain holes with plastic padding. (Would anyone like to tell me why?)

It occurs to me that a fitted fibreglass cover would keep the rain out, make it a useful secure storage space and provide some streamlining - perhaps even reduce petrol consumption! lol

Has anyone made /bought such a cover? Details please.

Cheers
pete

Thanks Mr. Bean. Very interesting. I'll make one inspection hole and see if mine's the same.
