Curtains or not?

Post by 100leelee »

The van pre refurb had curtain rails with some lovely yellow check curtains...

Obviously they are not going back in!!

Have others bothered with curtains or happy with thermal blinds??

Whyever not? They sound delightful. Aesthetically pleasing or not I wouldn't be without curtains of some sort.
I happen to like yellow  :ok

Curtains offer a secondary bit of privacy if also using thermal blinds, as I find the blinds curl up at the corners and edges, especially if stowed away for a long time.

Yes and I think they are available in two colours, I've got brown now but the previous bus had grey.

Don’t mind yellow... had a yellow bug, loved it.,
Rest of van interior is grey, so kinda looks out of place..

Disco Dave gave me some of these for a T4. I was hoping to get them to fit my T3 but alas they couldn't be made to fit. I was hoping to find some for the van and now I have. Thanks for the link. I have emailed them to ask how much postage to the UK is.

This company offer magnetic blinds for T3’s if you can’t bring yourself to drill holes in your van.

I did away with curtains twenty years ago , replaced with black out roller blinds , I can’t be doing with flappy curtains ... I do have a set that will go around the cab, but I don’t use them and I have full drop blackout behind the front seats ...
