Cupboard T trim

Post by MIN663CS »

Hi all,
I am refurbing some faded cupboard doors in my Autohomes Karisma. Have managed to find a vinyl that as near as matches the existing but I am struggling to find the brown knock in T trim that finishes off the edges. The original trim is 12 - 13 mm wide. The only T trim I can find is the one for a Westfalia conversion but this is too wide (bought a sample) and expensive for 1/2 a metre. Has anyone done the same job or know where I can source the right Trim. Many Thanks.

I am not good loading pics so here's a link.

You might be able to find some pulling an auto homes interior apart via a Facebook group?

Thanks for that. I've been trying to match original which is 12-13mm. The 15mm samples I tried sat proud.

Just an update for anyone interested or doing the same job.
Magnum Motorhomes who I mentioned in a previous post have now started to stock/sell  12mm  knock in T trim .

Hi Neil,
Got mine from a company on ebay. The colour wasn't a bad match ( I think) to the originals and they send it really quick.
I have just bought some of the larger width to cover my rear tall cupboard which has really faded in the sun. The link below is the width I bought for the doors.
hope this helps.  Regards Dave
